Application for restoration of qualification for submitting the thesis for Spring semester, 2026 Through this application process, Students can acquire (regain) the qualification for submitting the thesis with the approval from Dean of graduate school. Please check the detailed information stated below. 1. Applicants : Those who meet two requirements stated below. - Students who are scheduled to submit the thesis for degree in Spring semester, 2026 (who are scheduled to graduate in Aug, 2026) - Students who lost the qualification for submitting the thesis due to excess of expiration date. ※ The expiration date for submission of thesis is for 6 years in Master’s course, for 10 years in Doctorate and Integrated(Combined) courses after entering school(admission). (Except for the period of Leave of Absence) (Examples) · As of the Spring 2026 semester, a student who was admitted to the Master’s program in Spring 2020, completed all semesters without any leave of absence, and obtained ABD (course completion) status → Falls under the category of exceeding the eligibility period for thesis/dissertation submission · As of the Spring 2026 semester, a student who was admitted to the Master’s program in Fall 2019, completed the program after taking a total of two semesters of leave of absence, and obtained ABD (course completion) status → Does NOT fall under the category of exceeding the eligibility period for thesis/dissertation submission · As of the Spring 2026 semester, a student who was admitted to the Doctoral or Integrated Master’s–Doctoral program in Spring 2016, completed all semesters without any leave of absence, and obtained ABD (course completion) status → Falls under the category of exceeding the eligibility period for thesis/dissertation submission · As of the Spring 2026 semester, a student who was admitted to the Doctoral or Integrated Master’s–Doctoral program in Spring 2016, completed the program after taking a total of two semesters of leave of absence, and obtained ABD (course completion) status → Does NOT fall under the category of exceeding the eligibility period for thesis/dissertation submission 2. Period for Application : January 9th(Fri) ~ 15th(Thu), 2026 3. Required documents : Application form for restoration of qualification for submitting the thesis (Attachment) 4.
